if you can't tell right now that it's some sort of lobophyllia sp. then you've still got a ways to go.

and don't call me an idiot, OK? :D

I wouldn't say that the one from ebay is an Acan Maxima .... just a Sales hype to get some total idiot to purchase it Blindly ... my local LFS has the same Aussie (dull shades of Green colouration) Lobo and honestly speaking nothing Special ..

I say Lobo. I purchased these two colonies back when the first Aussie shipments came in.

why the name calling? Given that, I'd rather be a person saying it's definitely not a lobo, than the person sayin it's definitely an a. maxima.

nice maximas alex. :)

:) .....for a second I thought I was on that other big reef board.....gimme a break.

here's my lobo.....bought it from a guy who said it may be some type of acan...it definitely doesn't look like any acan i know of, nor does it look like many of the lobos you see on the web...the cool thing, this piece was acquired about 4 or 5 years ago...before any Aussies hit this continent....it came in on an Indo shipment.

here's what it looked like when I first acquired it

here it is now....much more vibrant, although a tad less puffy

has it even been discussed if they truly are found only in the Oman waters as seen in every description?
