A meager build by a meager man

I know close to nothing about everything, but I'm going for it anyway. :p
I'm hoping to build my box and stand all DIY.
Proposed dimensions : 19" deep 36" long 12" tall
1/4 " acrylic
The stand will be plywood and a few 2x4's. 3/4 plywood on top, 3/8 on the side.
I hope to also construct a shallow acrylic sump.
If you'd be so kind, let me know what wont work before I start cutting things! :)

looking like the planning is off to a good start. I personally would go taller than 12" but thats me.
