It looks like a good match. Is that a mariculture? Acropora nasuta tends to be pretty hardy/adapts well to tank life.

Came off a wild colony
Encrusted and grew for about 6-7 months

then STN I couldn’t stop
Even when chopped the healthy tissue didn’t survive

it’s was beautiful

maybe it was stressed from the start hence the coloration

I have had excellent survival (and subsequent growth) of STNing corals after a 1-2 hour triple antibiotic soak. I assume they are being affected by some microorganism that the dip kills.

What’s the recipes for this triple antibiotic soak?

In 200 ml of tank water (I use a plastic 500 mL beaker) add 1/2 capsule of "Fish Amoxicillin", 1/8 teaspoon of API "General Cure" (metronidazole), and 1/8 teaspoon of API "Fin & Body Cure" (doxycycline). Stir vigorously but don't expect them to dissolve entirely. Add coral to solution, stirring every 30-60 minutes to prevent hypoxia. I place the beaker partially submerged in a dark part of my sump to maintain a constant temperature. If the solution is exposed to tank lights, it will turn a cherry kool aid color, so stick to darkness. Soak 1-2 hours.

When I have done this, the surviving coral tissue has returned to normal vigor and regrown quickly. The choice of antibiotics here is based on relatively broad spectrum antibacterial (amoxicillin), anti-protozoan (metronidazole), and anti-atypicals/anti-rickettsial (doxycycline). Please don't pour the solution down the drain when you're done, if possible.

it makes sense using anti bacterial since necrosis is a bacterial infection

I will definitly give it a shot

it’s funny this even came up because I just finished a run of amoxicillin after teeth extraction and it got me thinking if antibiotic would work for Necrosis

Just be careful and responsible. Handle antibiotics with gloves/mask and dispose of them properly (not down the drain).
