I don't have one. Unless finding the only 2 clownfish in the ocean that won't host an RBTA is something new.

I was reading through the Grandis post about Z/P care and thought to myself, "hmmm... I really want more Z/Ps".. no really I was thinking that all of these fungal and bacterial mysteries, whether solved or not, could somehow be used for some other scientific research that has yet to be focused on. I am not saying that there is some magical brown dust or white fungus only grown on Z/Ps but I am saying that there might be a possibility that these underwater growths might be able to contribute to science one way or another.

Thoughts?

http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=compound-from-coral-could

I
believe a long while ago GARF had donated leather corals for some kind of disease research as well...I wonder what happened with that?

Makes sense to me to look at nature for disease resistance and cures, I think it applies even more so with marine life as we know so little about those organisms.

I would get behind a government funding program for zoanthids. :)
