This may have been posted already but with all the price increases on salt, it’s kind of hard to find a that fantastic deal of yesteryear but I did find a semi-decent deal on IO on Chewy.

They have the 160 gallon buckets on sale for $51.50, plus an extra 20% automatically applied at checkout (up to 5 buckets) plus $20 off $49 or more with GIFT20OFF brings it in to just under $200 for 5 buckets. Not the screaming deal of the century but still halfway decent.

You can save an additional 5% with auto ship

It looks like the same discounts apply to Reef Crystals but RC is more expensive.

Good looking out.

Also, since WHEN has "List Price" of RC been $95.29!?
IO "Sale price" of $51.50 with the 20% off is $41.20 per pail.
RC "Sale Price" of $66.70 with the 20% off is $53.56 per pail.

The GIFT20OFF promo did not work for me.

If you keep a lookout on petsmarts website they occasionally will have the bucket of I[ for $38 after discounts. My lfs tho sells the 200g box for like $52 as regular price, so I just buy that.

Hmm I wonder if it’s a regional code:

Seems like the value benefit of IO over the last few years has become irrelevant.

Funny I was pricing out salt today also. IO was the cheapest $/gal wise through chewy. But Surprisingly, very close behind, was Aquaforest Reef Salt through BRS. It was only a few cents per gallon more. I currently use Aquaforest Reef Salt and have been happy with it. I didn't realize it was the second cheapest option out there though..
