Years ago I bought some at Home Depot. Not sure if they still carry. I created a shroud for my office tank as the 2 Radions I have hanging over it produced a lot of light pollution.

Check for local sign shops and acrylic fabricators. If those fail, there may be a local TAP Plastics or other wholesaler that has drops (offcuts) that are within the dimensions you are looking for.

I did my research there isn’t TAP wholesaler around here. And finding textured abs isn’t easy. I can buy glossy black acrylic sheet but isn’t what I was planning.

Might have to just give up and buy smaller size and the size I need; just wanted a neat look

It is very thin but I bought a 36x24 sheet of Kydex on amazon for around $20 or $30. And it can be glued together with superglue if you don't mind a seam. It can be heated formed and keeps shape when cooled.

You can also search for FRP in black. Our PO does not carry black, only white, but can get black

Is Kydex textured?

Yeah, I looked and it was black foam sheets which isn’t safe for water use. Also was trying to avoid the glossy black look

Just a thought, but what about clear... and some limo black tint.

Is that even safe? I actually was thinking that but isn’t the method of adding tint is using a soap like substance to place it on

Am I missing what the use is? I didn't think this was going in the water. If it is, then definitely don't do that lol. Adhesive on the tint would be worse than the soap.

Anything wrong with that other than the glossy - ness? Why not just sand down with an orbital sander and the right grit to get the look your looking for?

I’m actually looking to go bare bottom sps tank with a minimal rock work and some shrimps so having a slippery bottom isn’t gonna work and my stand is a open bottom. So all the light shines through.
