Hi I’m looking for a power supply for my aquatic life Halo light.
Would this one work?
Original: 33V~2.7amps (photo with pink tint)

Ok I thought so. Seems hard to find a 33v power supply locally.

33V is pretty unusual, you'll find lots of 36V supplies. This may work, but I can't vouch for it. Devices should happily take +/- 10V, but you never know.

Some of the meanwell series (HLG-) come with voltage adjustable versions, where you can buy the 36V variant and trim it down to 33V.

You need one that’s 33v and >2.7a
Hmmm ..maybe
If the power supply runs switching drivers the 33v is sort of optional.
Could be fine with a voltage >33v

If the diodes are run in constant voltage strings that is a different story
Or if they use linear drivers or the driver ic's have voltage restrictions.
Point is there are " maybes"

As noted 33v is pretty odd and not enough info to really judge if it is an absolute

Anyways a Meanwell lrs-100-36 ($17.09) trim-able down to 32.4v (33 in this case) should be fine.
2.8A 36v 100w 32.4-39.6v 3yr warranty.
Cage vs brick ps.
