AC vs. DC Skimmers

I am considering an upgrade to my skimmer. Would appreciate input on not only preferred skimmer brands/types but on real life pro's and con's of ac vs. DC controls.

The major advantage to a dc pump over the ac is power consumption vs. Gph. For a skimmer I would prefer a dc pump if I could.

That said my next skimmer will be a nyos skimmer, it's just a work of art in my eyes and will look great under the stand.

Dc just gives you an easier way to control flow from the way I see it. Either is fine
