I am thinking of getting an Acan. I don't have the exact one picked out yet but never having had one I just wanted to get everyone's opinions on placement. Sand/Rock flow, lighting etc. Also Is there any feeding requirements or is just broadcast feeding enough?

I usually put mine in medium light higher flow and glue them to my rockscape but sand works well too. And in regards to feeding I spot feed mine once a week with either pellets or frozen mysis. Not a requirement but they puff up alot more when regularly fed.

Thank you. I know it all changes depending on tank but how big can I expect an acan to get/grow?

Here are my Acans. They are very happy in the sand bed. I feed them every couple of days.

What pellets do you feed?
