Yes it is so do not put it in your tank. You can however dip your frags in a solution of it and it will kill anything that crawls. Then you need to rinse the frag with tank water several times to ensure none gets back into the DT. There's a thread that goes over the step by step procedure, I don't know how to copy paste the link or I would but it's titled Bayer as a coral dip.

I'll look into it but doubt I'll try it as I don't want to harm my tank inmates as it's a huge risk you taking with using poisons like bayer...

To me, your parameters are fine. Leaving either the lighting may be to much or the NOPOX. Have you ever target fed the Acans before their demise?
