Acans vs. Chalice:)

I collect a lot of Acans... Even with some of the crazy rainbow variations out there, I would take some of the higher end Watermelon Chalices over them in a heartbeat.

Then again, it all comes down to personal preference. :)

20k...actinics... close to the same thing... its blue light also.. and far from natural sunlight.. atleast when i walk outside the sunlight im seeing isnt blue... and i like acans better also... so many colors and way more different types...

The light reaching corals under water is not the same as you are seeing above water. There's more to "blue/purple" bulbs than just what our eyes see.

I used to collect a lot of acans and I still think they are cool. I have seen some pretty amazing multi colored rainbow acans and have a few in my collection but by far chalices are my favorite. I believe all of the chalices I have hold the same color whether it's under a ton if actinics or not.
