I’ve had an acantho in my tank for about a week now, and up until this morning it looked great. When I woke up today, it was spilling its mesenterial filaments and had retracted its flesh so much that the skeleton is showing.

All my parameters are fine, and every other coral in the tank looks great. I did try feeding it a little earlier, which seemed to help for a bit, but when I came back home it looked just as bad—maybe even worse.

Not sure what’s going on or what I should do next. Has anyone experienced this before?

I moved to back of tank with less flow seeing if that helps

And how were those parameters different from the tank it came from? What par is it under?
