SHORT STORY: So, I am old and new to the hobby and picked up an 18.5 gallon for a quarantine tank, but decided I didn't want to medicate in an AIO so here I am....
So, I decided to "practice" on this tank opposed to playing with my larger one.

Nero 3
INNOVATIVE MARINE Desktop UV
INKBIRD /W AMAZON HEATER
Caribsea Black sand and Dry rock
Tossed in water from a change in my main tank, and put some microbacter 7 ran like that for about a week with no sand or rock....
Added sand and rock, next morning tested.
Main Concerns were low PH, and some low Ammonia.
.went for it:
Put a Clown in.. (got a good deal cause its a member of the ICP) and has lived solo since her (it)s murderous episode.
It's a sweetheart...
When I got home I had some livestock on my front porch. ***...didn't know. Acclimated all of it... some frags and a good size cuc.
This morning I did a 3 gallon water change after I fed the fish, bathed the frags and found an aiptasia. (Did not want it in my main) so why not... it's in the cube. Figure I'd rather focus on killing it here than the big tank.
Welp... everything is chillin lol, so we shall see how this plays.
Pretty excited because there are always people firm on what you can and can't do (not that that is bad) but they're opinions and I wanted my own... so live and learn
