I am currently waiting for my 2 Kessil 360X units that will be replacing my x 2 160we's in my 50 gallon.

I currently run the 160's at 100% intensity for 10 hours a day. Since the 360's are roughly double the wattage as the 160's, would that correspond to running the 360's at 50% intensity for 10 hours a day as a start to acclimation? Just want to be careful that I dont fry my corals in the process.

Thanks!!

I’d start at 40%. 35% if you run white higher than 25%.

I run the light pretty blue and in addition I plan to use some of the purple spectrum that the 360x w controller provides. The tank is 21 inches deep and the top half is just sps/bottom half lps colonies. I want to maximize SPS growth, particularly Acro growth. Is a final acclimation to 100% intensity too much light for a 36 X 15wide x 21 deep -- 2 x 360x setup? I definately want to take advantage of the new light output I can use.
