How is everyone acclimating ? Drip? Just temp ? Never had to do anything from the mail so I’m new in that aspect ... thanks
We do not recommend drip acclimating corals. Good for fish, but not for corals. Corals acclimate much easier than fish.
1) Get to temp by placing bags in a larger bag then clamping to rim of tank (should take around 10 to 15 minutes
2) Cut bags and dump water and place frags into bucket/bowl
3) Cup in water at intervals for 15 minutes
4) Lightly blow off bases of frags with Turkey Baster as a way to inspect corals
5) Place frags onto frag rack at bottom of Reef for a week or more for monitoring then place into proper locations depending on the type of coral (research placement)
Hope this helps ;Joyful
