Acro crabs

Why are these awesome little guys so pricey? $15 for a crab that most kill in a dip..insane. where does everyone get them besides coming in on a colony?

Go diving and try and catch one and then you'll think $15. is cheap.

I have to figure most of these vendors are not hand picking these on dives... rather pulling them from colonies they bring in

I have a supplier who i get acro colonies from and I will at-least get one crab each time

Before they were popular they would shake them off, now their seen as safe and desirable so they can charge for what can have up to 5 per large colony. Supply and demand. Give it time the price will drop.

I heard some are bad so I never kept them around, always let them go in the dip, rather safe than sorry.

acro crabs are almost a must for a healthy colony, I have never once seen aefw in a colony that had a crab in it

the gorilla crabs are bad, they come in a lot of time on the indo maricultured pieces and just damage the heck out of the acro eventually
