We have a piece of acropora in our frag tank that has been there for ~3-4 months and in the last fews days it's appeared to be bleaching slightly and now its polyps appear to be slightly inflated. Has anyone had this happen to acros before?

An image would be great.

Here is what it looks like. We haven't tested parameters yet but I will be doing that later and can post results. We are running an AI Prime HD, Ecotech mp10 in a IM 25g Lagoon.

not seeing bleaching, looks like it was against the glass or something to get that growth pattern.

Hard to see from the picture but the whole frag is lighter than it previously was. It isn't fully white but has definitely lost a few shades of color. It has always been in the center of the frag rack.

Looks like a form of acropora hyperplasia. Not really much to do about it. Just make sure the coral isn’t stressed.

Check your ALK, my oregon tort does this when my ALK gets too high. Lowering it will make it go away in a week or two.
