Acrylic question

Wanted to see about building my own acrylic tank. If for nothing else then just the project of it. My brother works at a place that orders acrylic, but I’m curious if anyone knows if it would work. Can’t find much information about it. Brand name is Sungard weatherable polycarbonate.

I was told that Polycarbonate is the preferred material for making an aquarium lid - because it will not warp/sag like acrylic can?

Shipping is the killer. Google cell cast acrylic sheets and look for the closes to you. I lucked out and found some on craigslist.
