Planning a Tank Upgrade - Looking for Acrylic Tank Manufacturer Recommendations

I'm currently running a Waterbox 180.5 and Waterbox 90-gallon setup, but I'm looking to consolidate into a single large display tank. Somewhere on the lines of 96" x 36" x 30".

  • Who would you recommend for a build this size?
  • Any manufacturers to avoid?

I’m very happy with my 2 acrylic tanks (200 and 500g) from Fish Tanks Direct in Fla…. They also built tanks for a couple of friends !

Glass Cages

Anyone use Acrylic Habitats ?

Advanced Acrylics. I priced at several places and they came in at $1700 shipped on a 150 gallon w/external overflow... but I have heard stories on delays and such.

Stay away from John at Advanced Acrylics. He is absolutely terrible at communication. Not worth the price savings.. should have listened to others.

Just got a custom one built for my space. Very happy with the communication and service from the owner. The 7 ft tank and sump just arrived today :). Quality look great so far!

Two I haven't seen mentioned are Tsunami and Midwest Custom Aquariums. Not too surprised about Midwest, he's on the smaller side, but Tsunami is a major player with tons of work in the industry. My own tank is a Tsunami and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Price was fair, especially since shipping was included, and turnaround time was fantastic. Great communication as well, I had an email from their sales team within a couple hours of asking and was on the phone with the actual maker within a day.
