Actinic vs. white light...

There's something that I don't really understand...my main light is the IM Skyelight with 3 10K LED's and 3 456 nm lights...also a Lightbar 12 volt with the Sunsetter, all actinic...Wondering what is the difference as far as Montipora, Serriotapora, xenia and other softees are concerned if the actinic is on or the Skylight (mixed)...the Lightbar is pretty strong and the whole tank is only a 10 Fusion...

If we must get into it...not sure how par and pur and lux really works...never had physics...but I can follow advise...Also, can I shield these corals with eggcrate or something when just obtained, or do they need to stay on the sand...not much room here to gradually move them up...Thanks...:confused:
