So i purchased 2 Yellow tangs to add to my 150 gal 6 foot long tank.
I already had a purple tang about 6 inches and a baby hippo that is about 2 inches.

Besides the tangs i have 1 majestic angel adult about 4 inches and an adult blue face angel about 4.5 inches.

the first 2 days were really bad, the purple tang was putting a beating on them bad.... tail slapping stabbing them with her spike, they had multiple puncture marks on them. I didnt think they would survive the beating. I tried to catch the purple to isolate her but had no luck.
Anyway the 3rd day the yellow tangs figured out where the purple could not go and started a routine of swimming in and out a small hole to avoid the purple back and forth. Went on all day, purple stalking but not able to catch them...

Next few days less and less aggression...
Now its about 11 days later and the Yellow are swimming anywhere they want with very little to no aggression.
They have been eating and pecking since day 1 and have recovered from looking beat up.
I was thinking i may have to get rid of one of the yellow once that hippo gets to be adult size but for now everything is looking good....

It also shows the good quality fish i bought, they survived a lot. I got them from Hot Reef here in NY. $13 each tang, medium size. Was a great buy
