Adding a new tank to my system

Hi all I’m adding a 65 g tank my 90g system .looking for a safe way to do this ,my 90g is a1 year old reef with leathers,softy’s,lps corals ,fish ,cleanup crew . I was going to start the 65g return pump at a very slow gph for 2 days and add 10lb of live rock . When the combine systems are stable I’m going to transfer my flame angel from the 90g to the 65g.
I’d like to hear from anyone that has experience with doing this . Thanks for reading.

Not done it, but seems like a reasonable plan.

Thanks . Yeah it’s from the 90g I put it in about four months ago in the sump
