My 40G is roughly 3 months old I'm going to add a 40G sump with new dry rock and sand (I just started soaking it in a Rubbermaid while I wait for the sump to arrive in a few days). the tank currently has livestock and corals. Am I running a risk by adding the sump if so what should I do to acclimate the sump to the main tank?

Thanks!!!!

I added a sump to my 55g after a year of running. Didn’t add more rock though, I would just make sure your rock is fully cured before adding to system and you should be all good! Post some pictures would love to see once setup!
