80 gallon reef 48x24x17 85 lbs of live rock and DSB

Large pair of maroon clowns, melanurus wrasse, fiji blue devil damsel. So far all doing fine with no problems. I am considering adding a smaller azure damsel to the mix. I am asking for trouble?

It will probably clash with your other blue damsel but in my experience damsels are so fast they don't really hurt each other. I kept 5 different blue/yellow damsels in a 40 breeder with a mantis shrimp and they chase each other around all day but none seemed to bothered by it. Just make sure there is lots of cover and hiding spaces.

I originally added 5 Azure damsels in my 110g. two I think have paired off. so I caught the other one to put in my son's nano as his "little" Dori. I currently have 4 and one pair laying eggs every 7-10 days. they are really nice. good luck.

the only problem I see is the Fiji Blue Devil. might gave the Azure a hard time but I think it should be alright. a LFS has a collection of damsels in a 90g. I think there's 8-10 different kinds of damsels in that tank, 3 or 4 of them in the blue color.
