Hi everyone i have had my tank running for the past 8 months and its done really well and i am nlw selling coral to my LFS but im not liking the way my sump is set out and it's really just a mess and i dont seem to be able to grow chato in it. I would like to add a devision about half way down so my chato has a chamber to its self and doesn't get lost behind my protein skimmer and filter sock, dose anyone know how i can attach a plastic devision to the walls of the sump while everything is still running

You could use EPDM marine weatherstripping and wedge the panel into place.

Consider using egg crate from the hardware store & plastic mesh from a craft supply store. You can cut the egg crate to size that will provide structure & form then use plastic zip ties to attached the plastic mesh. This will provide flow & prevent the chaeto from escaping into other sections of the sump.

Pictures of your current setup might help others to offer their recommendations.

you can also create something similar to an in-tank refugium that fits in your sump
