Adding dry rock question

I’m thinking about picking up some dry rock to my established tank because I have a lot of open space should I just put some new dry rock in a bucket of water after I do a wc and let it set for a few days with a wave maker

Imo There is nothing live on it just need to rinse it off and add it.

100% this. Rinse it in RODI, shake it off, plop it into the tank.
