Adding in a 60 Lowboy, LPS or SPS?

I'm literally running out of room in my 120 gallon reef. I picked up a 60 gallon lowboy (1'x2'x4') to use as a frag tank. I'm going to plumb it into my 120 sump so I'll have one large body of water.

I have multiple torches that seem happy in the 120 and a ton SPS that also seems happy. Who would you move over the the new tank once it is plumbed up?

Part of me says the SPS since I can really tune the flow for their needs, but that means I'm probably 6 months out since I need to ensure the tank is stable and has completed any cycle it wants/needs to do.

The other side of me says the LPS (torches, hammers, Goni's, etc) so I can spread them out more. I can probably move them over sooner since they can handle a bit more than the SPS if the tank is not perfect.

Thoughts/suggestions?

The right answer. . . LPS vs SPS. . . whichever one you will enjoy more.

I would do SPS, less water to go through means more PAR for my sticks. Also, like you said, should be easy to dial in some high flow in the 60 low boy. . .

but if you really love LPS. . . probably can't go wrong that route either!
