I have just upgraded to a 75gallon tank and I have 1 green chromis that is about 1.5-2" I would like to get 2 more and I was wondering if it would be a problem if this one has been in the tank for a while or if adding 2 more wasn't enough I know they like to be in groups but can pick each other off sometimes.

75g tank is a bit small for Chromis, they'll usually fight each other to the death, and you will end up with one. On occasion, some have gotten them to live peacefully.

IME you need to feed them very often for long term success in groups. This fish never stops moving and needs lots of fuel.

I started with three in my 120g. Took less than a year to get down to one. I will not add anymore.

Get Longspine Cardinalfish (Zoramia leptacantha) if you want a good schooling fish.
