Adding new fish to existing fish

I have a mean PJ cardinal. It was suggested to me to get her some friends so that she might feel more secure. I have added 2 new PJs and so she hates them too and has them cornered up by the return. Should I leave them a couple of days to figure this out or does she need to go?

Putting the bully in time out can work. Need an acclimation box for it.
