Adding New Fish

Hi everyone, so i think im going to purchase my next fish from my list, which is a Yellow Watchman. I want to pair it with a pistol shrimp to see/study the symbiosis of the Pistol and the Goby. My questions are these:
1) While i know that their is a chance they wont pair up, should i buy them at the same time or should i buy them weeks apart. if so, who should i get first
2)What other gobys have a symbiotic relationship with pistols? I like the Yellow as well as the diamond.

I dont believe the diamond will pair with a pistol. do a google search on shrimp goby. That will give you lots of options.

Your best bet is to purchase them both at the same time. As far as other prawn gobies, there is the randall's, the hi fin red banded, the yasha, the wheeler's etc. I wouldn't mix a yellow watchman with another species though, unless the tank is very large. Good luck!
