I have a 150 6 foot tank with about 200lbs of rock formed into a lot of caves and holes to swim in and out of.
I already have a
6" Purple tang
2.5" hippo tang
4-5" Majestic Angel
5" Blue face Angel
4 clowns, small compared to everyone else

Do you think i can add 3 yellow tangs small-medium or just 1, or none?

IMO 3 would be pushing It. 1 is doable though. Though the purple tang might have other thoughts, my guess is a really good beating put on the yellow.

i had a powder blue and the powder was smaller than the purple by at least 2 inches and the powder was the aggressor... Got rid of powder because of that and she decided to go rogue on my clams and goniopora....

Now in my current situation the purple is back and forth and she side swipes the majestic all day... no nipping or anything like that but constantly swiping... like if i was to shoulder check people while walking...
But they all love the new rock work, all the caves in and out...

I'd only go with one Yellow in there. I've tried the 3 yellows in a 6' tank, on many occasions, only to have it end up in disaster.

It's really hard to know until it's done. I had 6 in a 200g with no issues but I added 3 and then 3 more all at the same time, and all were small at first. With that purple being so large, that could be a game changer. My guess is you would be better off with adding 3 yellows at the same time rather than adding only one. one by itself would be sure death IMO but 3 might spread the aggression enough to get them in safely. As for whether or not its too much for your tank, thats depending on your filtration.

I am thinking the same.... 3 will break up the aggression...
She swipes my majestic all day as it is... so with 3 yellow tangs she wont know where to go or who to chase...
She used to run from my powder blue...
