Would it be foolish to add a brightwell xport no3 brick to my 40 breeder AIO? I have a perfect spot for it.

The reason I’m hesitant is, 1, it says one brick per 1,000 gallons. 2, my nitrates are only at 10, and phosphates are undetectable.

Really, I’m just trying to fill the second chamber of my AIO, and have had no luck with a refugium. Thanks!

Tbh I would not. They can crumble and create a mess overtime. I really really regret everyone one of those I have purchased.

When you tried a refugium, how did you have it set up?

Thanks for the reply. I had a ball of chaeto in the middle chamber with a chaetomax light on the glass on the back. It just melted away.
