Hi all.

Just set up my first reef tank and wondering if my aquascape looks adequate?

It’s a 20 gallon cube and I’m intending on keeping a maximum of 4 fish, as well as soft corals and some LPS. Fish I’m planning on are neon goby, watchman goby / pistol shrimp pair, singe clownfish and either a Royal gramma orchid dottyback. They all occupy separate areas of the tank but do you think this aquascape will be sufficient to accommodate all of them without conflict?

Thanks

Looks like a great start! There’s a bit of negative space towards the top, but there’s no rule that says you can’t have that.

If you do plan on redoing it, you can make the aquascape outside the tank using reef safe epoxy or putty

Thanks for the feedback.

The plan was to gain some height over time with extending corals. Maybe some gorgonia or toadstools in the mid section that will extend upwards. (Please feel free to correct me if this sounds like a stupid idea)

I totally agree with adding some extra caves / hiding spots though. That’s one thing I struggled with when making an aquascape for such a small footprint, but I shall have a look and see where I can make so adaptations.

Once again thanks for the feedback 👍🏻
