Adventurous Clown found in sump sock

My wife has a 54gallon corner tank that uses a HoB Overflow box. One of her designer clownfish was missing so I started looking around...

FInally got around to "he's dead or he got adventurous".
Did he jump over into the overflow box? Nope
Well, if he went into the box he would have went into the outside box? Nope
If he went into the outside box he would have went down into the Sump return? Nope
Well dang, if he went into the sump return the last place he could be is the Sump Sock?

Ding ding ding.... Clownfish found in sump sock.

Appears fine for his travels.

I have a royal gramma that I thought got eaten by my dwarf moray. Couldn't find him anywhere. My grandson (2 year old) was looking in my dark sump with a flashlight and asked what fish is that? Low and behold it was the royal gramma. He was In my sump with no lights for over a year and a half. He is back in the display, happy and healthy
