Hey team! Looking for advice! When we first started our 90g reef tank 2 almost 3 years ago we purchased turbo snails to help keep the tank clean... and yes they do a wonderful job but now they are HUGE!!! And at night they decide to go through and knock over any coral frag they can. We have glued the coral frags down and everything but eventually the snails win. Does anyone for any advice on how we can prevent this from happening? Thank you all so much looking forward to the replies!!!

welcome to R2R, Sova.

turbo snails have a well-deserved reputation for doing a great job keeping algae in check, but also an infamous reputation for knocking things over like little bulldozers.

i see three options:
• keep trying to secure the frags
• swap the turbos for smaller specimens
• switch to a different type of snail (trochus or turbans, for example)

good luck with the outcome!

Thank you!!!
