In the process of moving and need to part with my 6ft tank. I've decided on the 150 deep dimension and would like to light it with a single radium, if possible. I have a lumen max 2 in stock but was thinking the lumen max elite would give better spread/coverage. Is there another reflector I should consider? What do you guys think?

The Elite will give you LESS coverage. I used 3 on a 6ft 250g but the concentration was strong right under the light. It was to much too. Will they be in a canopy and how high?

Height can be anywhere from 4-12 inches, suspended over tank, no canopy. So you think my lumen max would be better than an elite?

Well if it is high then the elite will be fine but I don't think 12" is high enough for either reflector to cover a 150g. That is 3 or 4 ft right?

3ft by 3ft tank. I could go higher if needed, might need some light shutters much higher though
