This is my current set up (first tank).
I initially bought this 140w chinese black box, but it has the problem of a strong spotlight effect. I tried using a diffuser, but was unsuccessful due to the anoying glare it caused.
My solution: bought another identical light and plan to place them equally spaced along the length.
My main concern is not to burn the corals with a sudden increase in light intensity.
How should I proceed with the transition? That including dialing back the intensity, height or photo period.
Specs:
Blue dial: 95%
White dial: 15%
Lights on period: 10:15 hours
Current light mounting height: about 40cm.
Aquarium dimensions: 60x30x33 cm.
Thanks in advance.
Sorry for the low quality image.
