This is the 2nd of the 2 builds I am pulling off right now.

Cube -24x24x19 w/rim and back centered overflow
set on a 32" red mohagony custom stand
lighting will be blown up with a single 250w MH and 2 65wpc actinics. I will also be adding a 24" diy rapid led strip all blue w/2 UV to front of fixture for pop
It will be running on a shared system with a custom 40g breeder sump(another build going on right now - geesh.lol) It should be running a total water volume on the system of around 150g
Euro Reef USA 250 skimmer
12000DC return
2x350w heaters
2xTLF reactors - 1 constant GFO other random carbon
(have bio pellets and reactor but not sure about adding or not - not a huge fan)
Calcium Reactor
Apex lite controlled
2x fan cooling system - 1 on rotate blowing accross tops of tanks and lights - other set in sump area
Rock work will be a custom made rock structure.....as usuall :) with some tonga coming up out of the back
Tank will run bare bottom with a sand dish I will be making
Haven't thought about stock list yet

Will be doing this tank full of favorites - It is going to be a big ball of SPS. I am sure randoms will make their place in the cube-square but will still run sps dominent

stock list on sps for cube is this so far
strawberry shortcake
pink lemonaide
Oregon tort
AFJ's yellow tip blurple
The Last Dragon
Green Dragon
Red Dragon
Green dragon eyes
Purple dragon eyes
ice age granulosa
Atlantics fine branch
Rainbow Loripes
Pro corals rainbow
Rommels Rainbow
thats a starter list I am working with - will also be adding different millies to one of the shelving areas and looking to get back some of the tenius's I lost. Lost things(and why they're not on the list) like blue matrix, purple monster, 85% of my millies including my true blue and white millie along with every tenius I had. All my slimers down including blue and blue tip....etc etc etc - list goes on and on. Just glad even a small portion was saved to start back up with and the help from amazing reefers in getting my sps game back in the game - thumbs up

bumbs me out cause I had a good 60 or so other pieces to pick from before the crash 2months back. Rip to all the loved and lost :)

Oh forgot to add - I am using the Puratek ATO on the system. Huge thanks to R2R and Puratek on obtaining that as it was a win. Thing rocks. Had a lil questioning while calibrating the censor but figured it out and has been running smooth. I really like it!

So I was looking at the rock structure for the cube and of course the previous pics make sense as far as how it should go in the tank.......but I flipped it upside down and it looked pretty sick. definitely a bit out of the ordinary. What do you guys think? Try getting better pics - hard while balancing.lol but gives the ideas. Has overhang shelf with a tree look to it. The top has the flat bases for original base which look weird but won't be seen for long. Could turn into dedicated platforms

K so being lazy on this one so figured I would get one part out of the way.

For anyone that wonders how I do what I do to my tank backgrounds here it is. Man sure wipes me out any more doing it. All the hunching and bending over along with focus.....just makes my back and head hurt.lol

And you end up with something like this. Was not going for the flame look.lol realised after I finished I should have put a couple air bubbles floating up on each side. Was supposed to be more of a sea grass look :)

Thanks all. Ya the stand worked well for this 1.

Tried to keep the paint design simple this time. turned out pretty good. Subtle but there.

Got some things done for the cube last night. Put in a blue bottom and used a blue backing behind the black painted back to fill it in and add the color. Not as blue as I was looking for? Might have to switch the bottom to black?
