AFR powder, setteling out brown. Normal?

I'm using the AFR powder mixed by weight to 6L of r.o water, then after mixing it was placed in 5.5L container and not disturbed or dosed for 3 days, the liquid became clear but there was a brown tint to the bottom. I mixed it up and it was a bit of a cloudy mix with no brown on the bottom, again about 3-4 days later its back but the liquid is more clear and its not as brown, but I feel like another couple days of sitting it will be completely brown on the bottom again.

I assume this is "normal" I wasn't sure if thats just the anti binding agent or something thats supposed to settle out and not added to the tank or is it to be stirred up every couple days.. I sure hope its not to be mixed every couple days, PITA to mix my container..

Its still new but I assume allot of people are using the new powder form of All For Reef. Anyone else experiencing this brown settling, if so what are you doing if anything?

No brown with the powder here.
I bring my water to a boil then let it set a few minutes before I mix. Mixes fast and clean.

Do you mix it up again, or just leave it settled out

Tropic Marin has commented on this before, I believe they said it’s the iron separating, it’s totally fine and a shake or mix will get it looking clear again.

That's the main thing I was wondering if it's some of the trace elements settling out Thank you for your information

Today it is very clear and very brown on the bottom. I dont think this will ever stay suspended! I can't stir this every day! I will see what just letting it settle out does to parameters n such but I don't like the ugly brown!

I'm glad you asked this question because I was about to. I too have that happen to my AFR solution.
I just swirl the bottle occasionally, but it never really breaks down again.
It hasn't affected my numbers, the solution is still doing what it is supposed to to my big 3 numbers and I am happy.

I have not stirred it up again, now its extremely clear I can see small particles in the water still but they are definitely settling out or disappearing.

Still not been stirred yet, but now the water looks absolutely clear and now the brown is a bit lighter and almost looks like there is a white colored dust on top of it. (Only dosing 2ml a day just increased to 2.5 yesterday so not much fluid movement)

I am thinking of stirring it tomorrow, I was going to do it today, but im going to put this info out then stir ...thanks everyone ☺
