Aglae Identification Help

Hi, any idea what this algae is?

It might be a couple varieties..

On my wave maker, it appears golden, soft and almost gelatinous.

On the surface or the water it looks like gold snot.

And, and the rock work it looks brown and fuzzy. But, not hairy..

That looks more like a sponge to me
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
