Hi all,
I have my AI 32 hydra (it's about 4 years old I believe). It will no longer connect to my app and I can't even "find" the light anymore.

My location services, bluetooth, and Wifi are on; and my wifi is the same as the light (even though I believe it was bluetooth only but I honestly don't remember). I uninstalled and reinstalled the app (it deleted my tank etc).

I tried a soft reset on the light (unplug and plug back in) as well as a hard reset (press and hold button while unplugging and plugging back in). It does flash red but then goes immediately back to the schedule (indicated by the solid green light) which is fine as more corals won't suffer but I am wildly uncomfortable with the idea of not being in control of this light.

Any advice on what to do or how? I recently took it apart to replace the lenses and ensured everything was connected properly (this was 2 months ago) and I was able to view the schedule this morning. Not sure what happened in a few hours but I got some nice SPS in there and dont want any of my animals to suffer.

Thanks a million

Had this happen once with my blade. Unplugged it and plugged it back in a couple times. Hit enable schedule in the app and make sure the date and time are set to current. If the app or lights need an update check for that. Sometimes even moving the intensity in your preset will kick it back into your schedule

I can't even do that. When I logged back into my account the tank was gone. I can't add a new one because it can't find the light

Interesting. It’s a Bluetooth/ WiFi Issue. Make sure your WiFi is on (not 5G) and the location services are enabled. You must be next to the tank for it to connect. If that don’t work maybe clear catche and restart the phone or delete and redownload the app. I’d contact Ai to see if they can help if you really can’t get this thing to connect.
