AI blade lights in a fluval 32.5

i just recently got AI blade grow lights that happen to be on sale, and realized after i got them the current bracket inside my fluval 32.5 is ever so slightly too small, does anyone happen to have a 3d printable file by chance? i can get it 3d printed i just need the model file.

I just got the same today. I cut a little of the plastic out on one side of the fluval bracket. About half way down from where the screw goes on one side just deep enough to remove the little square of plastic then it fits perfectly.

I just did one side. I tried to highlight in red on the one pic where I cut out. It is solid. Can’t really even tell it is missing once all is installed.

sweet. what did you use to cut the pieces? i think im just gonna do that instead of 3d printing anything

I used an oscillating multitool to cut it because I couldn’t find my small hacksaw but I’m sure any small saw, a Dremel or even razor blade could do the job a little cleaner.

alright well, i dont have pictures, but its done! i cut and sanded down the extra pieces to fit the AI blades, everything is good now!

One last thought… you have to slide them off center a little. At least for mine the bracket was right above the button and it interfered with the update and app. Once I slid it over a bit to one side so the button is completely uncovered it works perfectly.

oh mine seemed to be fine, i dont think the button was pressed? it let me still mess around with its settings so
