I thought I’d share this. I’ve seen others do this (I copied them!) but hadn’t seen par numbers. I did this back in July and it’s been working pretty well except for a slightly pale green slimer (my first acro so wasn’t sure what the issue was...I’m sure now!) The light is mounted in the hood with a hole cut for the fan and the lenses removed (to get better spread). The stock splash shield is in place. I used a Seneye for the PAR numbers and didn’t have a mount created so used my hand to hold it. This means that my arm was in the tank so the lid wasn’t shut completely. Real numbers are likely higher (I’ll make a mount eventually but that’s a project for another day).
