Hi everyone! We have purchased the Res Sea DIY top screen for our rimless tank. We are ready to set it up but need to know a piece of information so we can cut our measurement correctly. Currently we have lights we hang from our ceiling, but we are planning to buy two of the AI Hydra 32 lights and will use the 18" flexible arm HMS mounting brackets. Can someone who owns those brackets tell me the width in inches of the mounting piece that attaches to the glass? We need to know that width in order to make sure we plan correctly when putting the DIY net top together and we don't have the mounting arms yet. Thanks for your help.

Not sure if you e already mounted your lights but that HMS mount is garbage for the Hydra 32. The 32s cord is bigger than the 26 so that mount doesn’t hide the cord...instead it just clamps it to the arm. I will be returning the mount...and going for a diy mount to make it a sleeker look.
