Hello fellow reefers! I’m in the process of installing my prime 16 lights on a wall microphone mount , I’ve searched all over for other options for this light and have not seen anything other that the flex arm, fixed arm and hanging kit. So I will put my pics up for anybody out there in my same situation.

Please inform us as to why you want to go down that road? May be more helpful to us to understand the reason for that specific installation.

Just preference, my tank happens to be against a wall so wall mounts is something I would like and I’m just sharing my idea just in case somebody here is wanting the same

Thanks, it be a cool project for sure. As long as you have the proper height and it can be adjusted then yeah let's see how it works for ya :)

Yes I came across those ideas as well
But I’m gonna leave the same height and depth on my lights with the current flex arms they been on since approx 2 yrs
Everything is good at that placement so I’m gonna lock it in with the fixed wall mount.
Really is just for aesthetics than anything else

Just got the brackets in, going to swap out the mounting plate, it is too heavy and bulky. Good thing the arm is screwed on.
Going to fab up a smaller one.

I didn't care for the look of available mounting options either. I ended up welding together my own mount that I screwed into the desk/table top.

I've got a little frag/observation tank sitting on a similar butcher block top and thought I'd try 3D printing a matching mount instead of breaking out the welder. We'll see how it turns out!

That’s awesome! Yeah I tried looking into a 3D printed mount but seems nobody out there is doing them
