I am planning my 2 tank build, the main tank will be about 110 gallons with a sump, the second tank will be an Aqueon 59 gallon corner tank for sea horses, pipe fish and a few other low flow livestock and corals. I am considering making this into an AIO as a DIY project. My question relates to the skimmer. If I use floss or other first step filtration how big of a skimmer do I need? On BRS the only nano skimmer I can find that gets close to this tank size is the Tunze 9004 which has a medium bioload of 40 gallons or the 9012 which jumps to 100 gal and is $175 more. Will the 9004 be big enough? Are there other nanos out there that you could refer me to? Thanks in advance.
