AIO Penisula Side Setup?

I've posted a few questions here, about a tank I have in mind. It's a long tank, 7-8ft, narrow 19 inches and about 14-15 inches tall. I don't really have room under for a sump unless I do a lot of modification to the site. I'm considering a cannister, but also curious as to if there is enough room on the side of the tank for an AIO, and if so do you guys have any recomendations?

I think if you have necessary flow/pumps to keep the water circulating throughout the length you would be fine. Plenty of people on here use cannisters or even HOB with great success.

I should add that I won't have access really to the back of the tank, which is why I am looking at side options. If I could get an AIO setup that would be easier than using a cannister.

Sounds like it's going to be a custom build anyways, so you should be able to get an aio pre-installed, unless you found a tank the dimensions you want?
Or build your own drop in when you get your tank!
Acrylic you could cut yourself, glass you could find a local shop to cut what you need!

Yes custom. Is it normal for these companies to be able to fit a system into the build for you. I'd like to get it all in one shot if possible.

And would an AIO be enough for this size tank being that it has to be on the short side of the tank?

I'd talk with your tank builder honestly. They'd be able to tell you if they'd done anything like it before.
