Aiptasia Filefish Color

I’ve had my Aiptasia filefish for 5 months? He only colors up with the mottled patch look when he’s feeding. Otherwise he’s always pale green. What gives ‘eh? BTW hello! I’m new to R2R.

It could be just the environment and it feels that color is best suited for its surroundings to blend in

Yes. Thank you for your assurance. Maybe I should vary his diet? P.E. Flakes & frozen mysis may not be cutting it?
