I second the lemon juice, its worked for me every time.
I have tried several treatment methods for Aiptasia and have had mixed results. The only thing that I have seen work every time is F-Aiptasia Killer.

We pluck ours off from the base... don’t know if this is the best method but so far it worked.... but we have only ever had three so idk

Thanks all.I agree with @dwest. Aiptasia retract, but usually not as quickly as Feather dusters. Aiptasia sometimes will need to be touched a couple of times, whereas if you get close to a Feather duster it is already retracting. Based on your last comment that supports the idea that it is likely a Feather duster.
