Algae Barn?

Has anyone ordered from Algaebarn? I am thinking of ordering the combo pods and ocean magik phyto. I do not have a refugium, but I do have a mature (3 year old) tank with plenty of live rock. Do I just dump this in my display tank? I do have a sump. Just keep adding each month or so?

Dump the pods in after temperature acclimation. I turn the flow off to let the pods find homes in the rock. Put the Phytoplankton in the fridge and invert the bottle once a day. It will have instructions for a suggested amount to dose each day. The website has specifics too for both.

Thanks. Do you have sand? I run bare bottom but website says that is not recommended.

Bare bottom for me. I used AlgaeBarn combo pods once while maturing some rock and then Apocalypse pods in July when I set up the display. No problems at all.
